Wax melts should not smoke. If they do, it may indicate the wax warmer is too hot or the wax contains impurities. Ensure you use a proper wax warmer and high-quality wax melts like ours to avoid smoking.

There are two types: cold throw (fragrance emitted when the wax is solid) and hot throw (fragrance emitted when the wax is melted).
